- As a Blog virgin, I thought it was time I got something out there for all you bloggers to see. I'm an active Rugby Union Referee - something I have been doing for many years now. Just before the game went professional in the UK, teams I ref'd included Bath, Gloucester, Bristol, Wasps, London Irish, Coventry, Northampton and Cambridge Uni. From a very early age, however I believe I have always had an "eye" for a good shot with a camera.I progressed into video for a while but, the editting was a very lengthy, time consuming business although I made several of my friends happy with their Wedding videos. I'm back on the "stills" now and I am using this blog to share with you some of the shots taken with my Canon EOS 400D SLR, Western Australia, January 2007. I've had some of them printed onto canvas and photo paper at 30" x 20" and they look good - not just my opinion. Anybody out there who likes these, especially you Aussies who love pictures of Oz, please contact me. Happy to think about supplying copies if there's a demand. Might be the business opportunity I've been looking for. Tell me what you REALLY think of my pictures please.
